This is a Social Community Initiative that is trying to reduce the textile waste going into landfill by creating local public clothing exchange events. Bringing awareness of the global environmental impacts of the fast & fashion industry, the shameful profit over people system that has now become a global problem! By working toward local focused ways of putting money back into this initiative through small fee thrifting we can thrive and exercise our passion for fashion without taking part in the... can we call: irresponsible shopping norms... I do not subscribe to destroying the earth for small pleasures and I hope you don't either! Let's use what we already have and pull community closer together one swap and stitch at a time!

Our new methods continue:
In order to help future events of this type grow and be more accessible we ask for a minimum $5.00 donation to participate
WHAT EACH $5.00 contribution gives you:
5 items to take home from the Swap options
1 ticket for a chance to win a door prize donated by thebestofnature.ca
&
Each ticket gets you $2.00 off any items from Sew-Psyched's Shop of $30.00+ or equaling a total of $30.00. You may use up to 2 tickets per every 30.00 total Shop wear.
Every time we host this event we get feedback that helps us make the next one better!
NEW CHANGES FOR NUMERO 3
I, Miranda / Mirth will be at the event offering simple repairs and alterations on spot for a small fee. If of course there may be something needing upcycled, repaired or other that I cannot do the day of, I will gladly bring it to my home shop and have it ready within a week or so!
